These terms govern your use of polishedstone.net and our related sites (the "Sites") and of Command Center, the application Polished Stone, LLC ("Polished Stone", "we", "us") uses to run its business and to share work with clients (the "App"). By using the Sites or the App you agree to these terms. Client projects are also governed by the agreement or proposal for that work; if the two conflict, the client agreement wins.

Access to the App is by invitation only. Keep your login private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove access that is misused or no longer needed.

When you connect a third-party service (for example QuickBooks Online), you authorize us to access it only as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Do not use the Sites or the App to break the law, to send spam, to upload anything you do not have the right to share, to try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or to disrupt or overload our systems. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the App.

We own the Sites, the App and their content, except content that belongs to others. You keep ownership of the information and files you give us, and you allow us to use them to provide our services. Ownership of client deliverables is set by the client agreement for that work.

The Sites and the App are provided "as is" and "as available". Articles and other content on the Sites are general information, not professional, financial, legal or tax advice. We work to keep the App available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and you should keep your own records of anything important.

To the extent the law allows, Polished Stone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Sites or the App. Our total liability for any claim about the Sites or the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. Limits for client services are set by the client agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, unless a client agreement says otherwise.

We may update these terms; the new version applies from the effective date posted here, and we will tell App users of significant changes by email. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
